With 7 pressure sensitive zones, these premium quality 18cm depth mattresses have been specifically designed to relieve shoulder and hip discomfort and aid circulation, with incisions cut into the shoulder area of the male and female pure 100% natural latex cores and in the pelvic and hip area of the female cores.

The Classic Orthoform is an ideal choice for discerning adults of average and higher body weight seeking superior comfort and has a significant degree of surface softness and responsiveness, that is so essential for side and back sleepers, in particular.

That significant degree of surface softness or yield absorbs the shoulders and hips of side and back sleepers to help maintain good alignment of the spine, whilst relieving contact pressure.

These mattresses have climate regulating fleecing stitched to the inside of their quilted organic cotton covers.
The fleecing absorbs moisture and excess heat to maintain a dry environment with an even, comfortable warmth.

Although the mattress core options are soft, medium or firm, the Classic Orthoform mattresses give noticeably soft underlying support and have a soft, cosy surfaces for the body to nestle into.

The medium-soft Orthoform has a medium grade natural latex core and an excellent balance between the underlying orthopaedic support and the degree of surface softness and responsiveness for side and back sleepers.

The Orthoform with a soft grade core has less robust underlying support and even more surface softness, whilst the medium-firm version has a firm core with a little more robust support, but with slightly less surface softness.

Suitable For

Wool is one of the most effective and efficient climate regulating materials, whilst cotton releases heat at a lower temperature and creates a somewhat cooler sleeping environment.

Jersey knitted quilted covers have stretch and are less stiff and a little more flexible than those made from woven fabrics.

And here we have listed the Classic Orthoform with jersey knitted quilted covers combined with 750g/m2 of organic wool fleecing, partly because the stretch of the jersey fabric enhances the responsiveness and body contouring qualities of the mattress surface.

But, we can also supply the Classic Orthoform with a drill woven quilted cover and 750g/m2 of organic wool fleecing or these drill covers can also be combined with 500g/m2 of organic cotton fleecing. Please let us know by e-mail if you would prefer a drill cover.

Product Tips

The Classic Orthoform has the option of an additional outer cover, which can be removed and is machine washable to 60 degrees. The outer cover encloses an inner jersey knitted quilted cover and the climate regulating fleecing.

With this Climate Zone option, the inner quilted cover can be supplied with either 500g/m2 of organic wool or organic cotton fleecing.

There is an additional cost for the Climate Zone extra cover and this option needs to be added to your shopping cart.
